Hello! I’m Audrey Julienne, the voice behind “Oh Little Audrey Says”. I’m a freedom-hungry, social media addict entrepreneur; moonlighting as a ballroom dance instructor. Welcome to my journey!
I grew up in France, moving around about every 5-years until my parents decided to settle down on the French Riviera. But I was born in Lyon, Croix-Rousse hospital (I’m a REAL lyonnaise), and my heart belongs there.
I always was a straight A student. Good girl, good daughter. Until I graduated high-school.
After high-school, and a big fight with my parents over me attending Acting School (they won), I settled for Communication & Film at Aix-en-Provence University. The most beautiful city in France. Then I moved back to Lyon and started climbing the advertising & design corporate ladder, with a hiatus as a dancer for Club Med in Ibiza, Spain. When I moved to the U.S. I drove a red convertible Mustang, lived in Philadelphia’s poshest neighborhood and bought $12 Martinis without raising an eyebrow.
And then it all fell apart: the corporate job, the comfy income, the expensive night outs… I sold the red convertible and moved in with a friend. I started my own marketing consulting practice and took a dance instructor side job to pay the rent. My days are spent networking, “Facebooking”, “Twittering”, designing and programming websites, writing; and my nights teaching, entertaining and choreographing wedding dances. And guess what… I love my life.
I hope you enjoy reading my simple adventures. Here I will give a girlie look at city life, somewhere between yuppie and hipster.
In Closet Talks, I write about my take on fashion. The things I splurge on, the trends I follow, and the quirky moments when getting dressed is borderline getting into character. Because that’s what makes life interesting: changing personality like changing jackets.
In Eating & Drinking, the foodie in me will share seasonal favorites, restaurants to visit, maybe a recipe or two. Please feel free to make suggestions on places to visit, recipes to experiment, delicacies to try…
In Lifestyle, I’ll share more personal adventures. Stories on my journey, friendships, relationships… and lots of lists. As you’ll soon find out, I love lists.

Reading and Seeing, you’ll have guessed are about books and movies. I once was a huge reader, I once was a movie goer. Life took over but I still enjoy a good book and a good movie, and I’m only hoping to get more of them.
Finally, it’s real Shopping we’re talking here. Not just the window kind. We might end up to figure out, together, the reason behind the shopping madness…
